My name is Sunita, I am a Midwife and Real Birth Teacher. I would love to share my knowledge and skills with you, to help you feel prepared for your birth in any situation. This may be a planned birth at home, in the birthing unit or even if your care is under a hospital consultant, I will help you try to achieve a positive birth experience.
I have over 20 years experience working in the NHS and started my career as a registered nurse, it was through my job a nurse that I then fell in love with midwifery and have been a practising midwife for the last 13 years.
I love providing antenatal education to pregnant women and their birth partners, and I feel very passionate about doing this. This is why I have become a Real Birth teacher. Sharing my knowledge gives me the opportunity to meet people like you who would benefit from the workshop.
The workshop gives me precious allocated time to show you what to expect from your upcoming birth and the ways in which you can help yourselves during this special time, to make this a memorable, beautiful experience for you both. I am more than happy to do one-to-one sessions in the comfort of your home or look out for future small group sessions (dates to be confirmed).
